Family of 7, transportation to cocoa beach pier, I know we can taxi or Uber, but are

I assume from the cruise terminal during a port of call?

 

Generally UberXL can only seat 6 so your best bet may be 888-transportation waiting outside.

 

They have 2 sizes available and a desk to assist you. They use minivans (up to 5) and the larger minibuses:

Hmm, do the mini buses combine groups? I'm guessing we will all head over together, but might go back to the ship at different times (5 kids range from 14 - 20, and the parents might want to head back earlier).

It is up to you whether you want a shared or private vehicle from the ship to beach.

 

Then 1 or 2 Ubers for the return trip whether you split or not. Easier and faster!

Thanks, we are cruising from NYC on Saturday (4th time doing this itinerary), so far weather looks good, and my kids are beach kids (being from NJ, nice big waves). Uber wasn't a big thing the last time we cruised, but we use it here at home, and have used it overseas. Thanks for the 888 info.
