I just joined today!! Have Questions about a River Cruise...

My husband and I signed up for an AMA Enchanting Rhine River Cruise that departs Zurich on October 19, 2015 and I'd like to get acquainted with other people that are planning to take this cruise. This will be our first river cruise and only our second cruise of any kind, so any advice would also be helpful, such as the weather that time of year and type of clothing we might need. Thanks.

There is a board here on cruise critic dedicated to river cruising. That would be the best place.

In the Roll Call section, you will find threads for River Cruises. In the past I have not found many people for the ones we have taken. Since they are smaller ships, typically 150 or so passengers, the small percentage that might visit here results in little or no roll call activity.

I just want to wish you a bon voyage. Please write a review after your cruise so we can learn from your experience. ☺
