Typoon Troubles

We are scheduled to sail on the PG in October of 2015 but wondered if the company will change two of stops due to severe damage to the islands in Vanuatu(Port Vila and Tauna). The nation really needs tourism dollars even more now.

There are many aid agencies/governments working with medical assistance, heavy engineering equipment etc to help repair roads and key infrastructure.

Royal Caribbean and Carnival Cruises, maybe also others, have made substantial donations to assist with disaster recovery in Vanuatu.

Hopefully by October most of the islands will be enjoyable for you.:)

I feel so badly for the people...literally the only communication was people on the out islands spelling H for help on the beaches to air surveillance. And they have no place to land supply planes. :(

As for October...I'm hopeful for them, but we have visited Caribbean Islands 10 years later that still have significant damage. Your cruise is probably a very good candidate for "Pack with a Purpose" :D

We are bringing a bag to St Lucia next month!
