EPIC Activitity Questions

I haven't been able to find any info on:

Progressive Food and Wine Experience held in Taste@ 2PM

Casino Hot Seat Power Hour @ 6pm Casino

These each are held a few days during my upcoming cruise and I can't find any info on them.

Has anyone done either and/or know what they are?

Bumping this up for you. I don't recall as ever seeing these offered before, I hope someone else will be able to help out.

FYI- These were listed in the dallies that Rhea (sp?) posted after her November (western route) cruise. I am assuming they're still being offered. Hoping someone knows something.

I answered (1) of my ?'s.

Found a blurb that reads:

" Play our slots or table games with your room key/player's card to night between 7-8 and you could win free money"

Rather vague.....guess it could be 5 bucks to a few players?

Just got off the EPIC. I didn't do the wine n food thing, but caught a little from the casino...it looks down into part of Taste. They had like 8 glasses of wine and a glass of water. Didn't pay attention to the food. It was like a tasting party and they were guiding the guests on which wines had what kind of taste pallet and so on...wish I could tell you more.

The hot seat promotion is just a random giveaway. I caught one on my Sun trip, but can't remember if it was like $10, $25, or $50. I seem to remember it not being at least $100. When are you going to be on the Epic? We go in March.......:) I think we would be competing for the same video poker machines......

When we were on the Epic last year, my parents had good luck at the video poker machines at the bar near the aft elevators. They hit eight royals between the two of them. I wasn't as lucky, but I didn't play as much as they did.

Brookie, by the bar or on the actual bar? I know that they have like 8 bar top machines, this would qualify as a potential "hot" tip. :)
