cleaner man Posted April 27, 2012 #1 Share Posted April 27, 2012 Are there safes in the cabins of the PG? Do you take your passport with you when you go ashore on an excursion, safe on the beach in back pach etc while shorkeling?
marinating Posted April 27, 2012 #2 Share Posted April 27, 2012 Hi, we have just returned from our 14 day cruise in paradise! We were required to hand in our passports on embarkation day and they were returned to us the night prior to disembarkation. We always carry a photo copy with us when we go ashore and yes there is a safe in the staterooms. Enjoy your cruise!:) Marina
FlightMedic555 Posted April 27, 2012 #3 Share Posted April 27, 2012 When you go off of the ship the only real documents or valuables that you will have are your cabin key card (this doubles as your ship ID card and it is scanned as you leave and return to the ship) plus any $$ or credit cards you take and stuff such as cameras. avalong Posted April 28, 2012 #4 Share Posted April 28, 2012 We have some small water-proof bags that you can belt around your waist while you're snorkeling. We got them so long ago that I can't help you out with a source or anything, but just know that such a product does exist & start googling. Although, I have to say that we've seldom felt the need to use them except in Hawaii where you are warned not to leave stuff on the beach.
Rare Familygoboston Posted April 30, 2012 #5 Share Posted April 30, 2012 Can anyone answer if there is a safe in the cabin? Has everyone had their passports held by the ship?

parislady40 Posted May 1, 2012 #8 Share Posted May 1, 2012 Just to let you know that the safe is not a large one. Enough space for wallets and a few valuables. I have never had any trouble leaving anything out in any of my past cruises. My camera equipment and laptop could not fit anyway. Good honest crew!!:)
