Weirdly - Prinsendam's version of the new logo is a steel cutout - mounted on the funnel. I was on her right after drydock in May 2016. She seems to have the only one that isn't painted on.

 

 

 

I like the old one too.

Maybe Prinsendam's funnel isn't paintable..

 

 

You're right! I hadn't noticed...

Unfortunately, you'll start seeing those Nieuw Amsterdam/Halve Maen logos on the funnels disappearing as ships come out of their dry-docks :(

 

Hi, Copper John! I wondered where you were... how is the weather down there? - we are heading for California on Monday, but will just drive as far as SF to visit cousins. From what I see on the weather maps, it's pretty much like here?

Hot, Africa hot! Tarzan wouldn't like this type of hot! :cool: But it should be much nicer up the in the SF Bay area; enjoy it up there!
