I hope nobody was planning on lunch in Juneau. Yesterday we got a first hand report on why Noordam was early; I wonder if anyone onboard can comment on today's arrival.

Weirdly - Prinsendam's version of the new logo is a steel cutout - mounted on the funnel. I was on her right after drydock in May 2016. She seems to have the only one that isn't painted on.

 

I like the old one too.

This is SOOOoooo cool! I've never seen a ship dock "up close and personal." Big thanks to whoever is operating the webcam. I'm taking my first ever cruise in September (14-day Great Alaska Explorer) on the Amsterdam, so we'll be doing this, too. Nice to see how it all "works."

Unfortunately, you'll start seeing those Nieuw Amsterdam/Halve Maen logos on the funnels disappearing as ships come out of their dry-docks :(
