There are only two ships in Juneau for Bastille Day.

Volendam will be at the CT dock 1300-2200. With nobody at the AS dock we will have a clear view of her all day.

Disney Wonder will be at the AJ dock from 0600-1700.

The forecast for Friday is almost exactly like Thursday's - rain early then cloudy with rain showers in the afternoon (90% chance of rain). The high will be 63F/17C and the low 50F/10C. Sunrise will be at 4:12 am and sunset at 9:52 pm.

The PTZtv webcam can be found at http://www.juneauharborwebcam.com/ .

Does Juneau Alaska care about Bastille Day, I guess we'll find out tomorrow.

Heck No; there are no Frenchies in Juneau ;p

and you can't see France from there!

Maybe that is why there are only two ships in port.;);)

Juneau AIS seems to be very poor today but Volendam's rendezvous with Tracy Arm boat St. Peter appears to be in about the expected time frame today.

AIS is not much use for us today - Mickey's ship has been blocking the entrance to the channel for over 5½ hours [] while also being docked in the harbor - a little more Disney 'magic'?

Somebody must have reset some piece of equipment.

With as far away as she is yet, she should be showing up close to her scheduled time.

Yes, she does seem to be running later than usual. In the meantime, on my screen Disney lost it's position and went back to blocking the channel but is now back to the dock.

And all of a sudden Juneau's weather looks pretty good. Downpour right outside my office window.

Maybe it's in both places depending on where the mood strikes them. :D ;)
