Reduit Beach

You might want to reconsider your plans for going to Reduit Beach.

There's a constant harassment by vendors who don't take a "no thank you" for an answer. (Way worst than it use to be. :( )

It's not your normal calm Caribbean beach ... has breaking waves.

We no longer enjoy going there and had rather take a catamaran to view the Pitons with a beach shop.

Can anybody recommend the best place to be dropped off at Reduit place where there are beach chairs/umbrellas/beach bar/bathrooms. Thanks for any help!

Drop off next to Spinnakers, the police station entrance, then it is just a step off to the beach. Also look into the Pigeon island national Landmark for a great beach, relatively quiet, a bit of hiking, snuba, snorkeling and restaurant, washrooms. no umbrellas but there are trees that give off shade. lounge chairs can be rented.

Agreed. Although beautiful and familiar (my husband grew up there and was a member of the Yacht Club), we do not go there to swim. Our last trip we had lunch at Spinnaker's with family, and swam elsewhere. We went to Vigie beach near the airport - definitely not as picturesque, but certainly private - only a few locals there that day. :)
