Cpt Marvin - does he have blonde hair?

I found a couple of sting ray tours on NCL's excursion site. One he is promoting a motor cruiser ($49 for 2.5 hours) and the other a catamaran ($69 for 3 hours).

Charging more just because of the catamaran?

Captain Marvin Ebanks is well into his 90s. His hair is grey.

I really doubt any of the private tour companies that strive on cruisers to take THEIR tour instead of the cruiseline tour, would be promoting anything on a cruiseline site. Just saying... :)

As this was a thread about Capt Marvin, the man, I thought it the best place to post news of his passing.

Capt Marvin died late in December 2014 at the age of 98. His funeral is today.

He was truly a legend in the Cayman watersports community.

The business bearing his name will continue to serve the island's residents and the many visitors to the Cayman Islands. Indeed in the days after Capt Marvin's passing his company hosted former US President Jimmy Carter on a trip to the stingrays.

As this was a thread about Capt Marvin, the man, I thought it the best place to post news of his passing.

Aww, rest in peace Captain Marvin. I remember watching some type of show on him and his business and how he was still going out with tours here and there even at his age. What a fulfilling life he lead. You could tell he took great pride in his company. :)
