Hi

Considering taking a Mediterranean Cruise in September aboard Silver Sea Silver Spirit. The room offered us is a Handicap room (We are able to use a regular room) (Room 530) on Deck 5 next to elevator and one room away from a bar. It is on the Port Side. I would be interested in feedback regarding this room from those who have experience with this.

I wonder if noise from the bar an elevator will be an issue.

Thank You

If you look at the deck plans, your cabin is NOT open to the bar area...you are in a hallway, so noise shouldn't be an issue...same with the elevator foyer...you are in a hallway separate from those 2 areas.

A handy website you might want to bookmark is http://www.cruisedeckplans.com. It's a member site to see all the cabin pictures, but there are many other features you can access without being a member. Usually if they have pictures of accessible cabins, they are available to anyone. there is a video of 533 on Silver Spirit...It's a blatant ad for the guy making it, who is a travel agent and spends a lot of time at the end of the video plugging his agency.
