Island Marketing?

I have used Island Marketing to book tours on several occasions with fantastic results. I have tried to book an excursion with them while we are in Belize but I get an email that tours have not been scheduled for the day we are in port and that I would be added to email list to be contacted once scheduled. Has anyone else run into this? The other times I used them, I booked way in advance

Why not book directly with the tour operator? What is the value added here by using a middleman?

Some vendors use the "middleman" because they don't have the resources to fully market and book their tours.

OK, thanks for the explanation. Does that simply add more cost to the tour or does that come out of the vendor's pockets?

Island Marketing uses, Ecological Tours & Services in Belize City. I just used Island Marketing last week for Goff's Caye. In our case there was no difference in price.

I just tried to book with them for January 7th 2015 and got the same response. No one has booked with them yet and they need atleast 15 people to do the tour

I used them 2 weeks ago in Belize for ziplining and they sent us with X-Stream Ziplining. Both companies were excellent. Check your spam folder because I did find an Island Marketing e-mail in mine once.

What tour are you trying to book? Cave tubing??

Does anyone know the name of the tour company used by Island Marketing in Cozumel. We are looking at the Volkswagen Bug Island Tour. Thanks in advance:D
