Early and short time in Tortola. Any suggestions? Is it worth it to do the Baths? I would do a ship excursion due to time constraints

That is a tough one, we did that once and just taxied over to Smuggler's Cove but there are no vendors there now so Brewers Bay would be a good beach choice.

If the Baths are offered that's the most unique excursion. I agree with the ship excursion, if you can get 2 - 3 hrs on Virgin Gorda that would be great! Do they give you the amount of time the excursion lasts? The ferry will be 30 min each way so any more time would be spent on VG...

I already booked the ships excursion for jan 2016

Chances are it will sell out due to supply and demand and short port time

Yes...We'd head for Brewers around 9 and then just walk the port area. For new folks an island tour with a beach stop would be ideal for this early and short day...
