ravensbad Posted July 15, 2017 #3 Share Posted July 15, 2017 We did a very nice excursion through Royal in December 2015 that included a beautiful drive to St. Pierre. On the way we stopped at a beautiful church. In St. Pierre we toured the rum distillery and the museum about the volcanic eruption. We also visited the ruins of the theater and jail. I have a review on this board, but since photobucket changed their 3rd party hosting policy you can't see the pictures anymore (unless you click on each picture individually, but I read even this option is going away soon) and I can't edit in new links. Everywhere that we stopped they spoke English and were happy to take US Dollars, though we didn't really wander around outside the port area so I can't speak to that. evandbob Posted July 21, 2017 #4 Share Posted July 21, 2017 I enjoyed a snorkel excursion to the bat cave that also had 2 other snorkel and beach stops along the way. A different cruise I did not enjoy a LONG bus ride to a beach on the southern shore. The total time on the bus was longer than the beach time.
