Can We Meet at Tour On-Shore at Tender Port

Haven't cruised Azamara before and have booked the 2016 Norwegian Fjords cruise. Am planning on booking a 7 hour excursion that is scheduled to begin at 10:45 and we are scheduled to arrive in this tender port at 8 AM. We would like wander around the town prior to the tour beginning.

Should we be able to talk to the tour people and arrange to meet the tour at the tender dock at the proper time is our question??

I guess we could tender to shore and then back to the ship and meet on board but, seems we should be able to meet the tour at the tender dock and perhaps due to the timing of this tour, we would meet on shore since thee would be open tendering by that time.

Bonnie, could you please check with the tour people and see if this is a viable approach??

We did the fjords on Journey this past June and several of the ship's excursions did meet on shore when we tendered.

Most of the excursions meet on shore when the ship is tendered. The Land Discoveries Staff will let you know the information before the tour begins. Enjoy, The fjords are incredible !!
