Antigua: Crusoe Island Escape or Beach Escape

For my cruise in November I can't decide between RCI's Crusoe Island Escape on Prickly Pear Island or the Beach Escape at Fort James Beach while in Antigua. The price is quite different (Crusoe is $109 and Beach is $39) but both sound great. Has anyone done these that can give me an opinion?

Thank you!!

We have done the Crusoe excursion twice and we would go back to Antigua again just to do that excursion. They pamper you, they feed you, they spoil you rotten and it's all included. I have to admit that I did pay a very little bit extra for a massage on the beach. It was heaven. It's a privately owned tiny island, so there is no one else there.

Does that help?

did you book this through RCL excursions, or independently and then find yourself on the same one as the tour from your ship?

I had that happen once on another port/excursion, and it was sort of weird that I was with the ship tour, but did not pay through the ship.

Prickly Pear is an island about 50 yards by 50 yards reached by boat. They have lunch and drinks all day, snorkelling, sun chair and umbrellas but you can't go anywhere until it's time to leave. Beach Escape in on Millers beach and is about 1 mile long with a restaurant at both ends. Both are great for different reasons. You get a complimentary drink upon arrival and a sun chair. Umbrellas are about $6 each.
