Ferry from Seattle to Vancouver

Hello, we are looking at a cruise from Vancouver to Alaska April 2017, and would like to see Seattle, has anyone ever used a ferry from Vancouver to Seattle. Thank you, John

Correction to other post in Calif-Pac NW forum:

Convoluted but possible...

Then two options:

1. From downtown Seattle take Victoria Clipper to Victoria cab to Swartz Bay for BC Ferries to Tsawassen (Vancouver).

2. Victoria Clipper to Friday Harbor then take Washington State Ferry to Sydney, BC then short cab to Swartz Bay and ferry to Tsawassen.

Linking up the schedules either way might make for some long waits for connection. Possible - yes. Practical - maybe not. Option #2 is more scenic in the San Juan Islands.

I recommend Amtrak- beautiful trip and goes directly to downtown Vancouver from Seattle

There's also the Prince of Whales option where you can Orca whale watch your way between Vancouver and Victoria....
