inlovewithnolan Posted July 24, 2017 #1 Share Posted July 24, 2017 My husband and I are booked on a cruise next May. New York to Bahamas on the Gem. I was thinking about bringing my son, daughter in law and their two kids, 8 and 5. Does anyone have experience with bringing kids of this age on board? Is there enough to do to keep them happy? If I am going to do this I wanted to do it while they are still offering the 3rd and 4th person free. Thanks in advance for your help!
mjkacmom Posted July 24, 2017 #2 Share Posted July 24, 2017 Yes. There is the kids club, and a pool. My kids have been on the Hewel, Breakaway and Gem, and had a great time on all of them (ranging in age from 7 - 19 over the years).
dexddd Posted July 24, 2017 #3 Share Posted July 24, 2017 I'd say so. We've been on the Gem twice, once with kids, once without. Between the clubs and eating and pools, sure. Plus you have the ports. If you go to PC even though you get in late try KSC. The private island, GSC, is nice but FYI there is a chance you could miss it due to weather/sea conditions.
