Istanbul tour guide

We only have a few hours in Istanbul. I'm thinking of hiring a tour guide so that we can see what we want most efficiently. Does anyone have any recommendations for a good guide? Thanks.

I had very good experiences with Ephesus Deluxe and they offer guides at Istanbul too.

I also used Ephesus Deluxe, and was pleased at how well they worked with me to customize our itinerary, and highlight the areas in which we were interested. And totally omit things in which we had no interest.

Skip the tour company and go straight to this guide ... he is personable, knowledge, funny, and in high demand and quite literally made our day in Istanbul one of the most memorable of anywhere we've traveled. (plus, if he's good enough for Bill and Melinda Gates ... just saying ;))
