Recommendations for Curacao

We will be traveling to Aruba, Grand Turk and Curacao on the Sunshine in 16 days. Yay!!!. We have snorkeling excursions set up in Aruba and Grand Turk, but do not have anything booked in Curacao. Does anyone have any recommendations for seeing the island without spending a lot?

We would especially be interested in places on the island for taking photographs and seeing interesting sights. I have seen people write about the salt flats, but being on the other end of the island, is it worth the time of traveling there? Or should we just wander around the port area?

Thanks for any ideas.

Bill

Curacao is a very pretty island. When we were there last December, we booked a cruise line sponsored excursion that took us all around the island with frequent stops for photos.

Here is a link to the excursion we booked.

Maybe Carnival has something similar.

Happy cruising!

You can easily walk around town from the port - there are free yellow guides ( from the tourist info at the end of teh floating bridge) which give you walking tours around town, some great architectural shots - in addition there are lots of tours you can take - see Trip adviser - there are even photo tours
