Where can I purchase a POWERFUL hair dryer

Could anyone tell me if there is somewhere in FL that I can purchase a powerful 110v hair dryer that I can use on the Equinox. The one that I have in the uk is a 240v and doesn't work on 110v.

When I say "powerful" I mean one that gives your hair a good hot blast of air, not a luke warm puff of air, like the ones on a cruise ship. I will be staying a the Hilton Beach Hotel, is there anywhere shop nearby?

The best hair dryer I've ever used is the Remington T-Studio Silk Ceramic hair dryer. Very powerful. Dries my hair more than twice as fast as any other dryer I've ever owned.

I purchased mine in Ulta, but Walmart and many other retailers carry it. I've even seen it on ebay. You might have to search online to see where you can buy it close to your hotel.

If you're staying at the Hilton I would suggest going over to The Galleria on Sunrise Blvd. That's probably the closest. Macy's should have what you need.

My DW bought a dryer at Walgreens near our FLL hotel (she forgot hers). As DonnaK said, you will have to see what stores are nearby for you.

There are both 110v and 220v outlets on the Equinox. The American pin plug is 110v, and the 2 round pin european plug is 220v. I take my hairdryer from home with a european adaptor, and it works great.

This is why they should have left the "hoses of fire" in the stateroom bathrooms.

Get it now before the blokes in Brussels downgrade the power of your blowdryers like they just did for your vacuum cleaners.

Chi makes a very good hair dryer.

In a pinch you can get a decent one at Walgreens but I'd head to Ulta and get a good one there.

The closest place to the Hilton Beach Resort is CVS at Beach Place...it's about 6 blocks so you can easily walk. They carry Conair hair appliances.

If there's no place convenient to the hotel, consider purchasing online and having it shipped to the hotel and held for your arrival.

I would be thinking in terms of Walgreens, CVS or Ross all of which are on 17th.
