Our cruise is not scheduled to depart Seward until 9:00 pm. Can you board the ship, have lunch and get off the ship to explore Seward and then return for dinner?

Thanks.

Yes you can. They will tell what time to be aboard by. They have to do a lifeboat drill before sailing.

You can get on and off the ship unlimited. But, I would not be making meals a priority in Alaska. Especially with some of the tours available. A highlight of Seward is Kenai Fjords, especially a "must do", for those with scenery and wildlife a priority. :)

My cruise on the Norwegian Sun also departs at 9:00 pm. from Seward. Roughly about what time, are you allowed to board the ship?

We are on the same cruise. Have you joined the roll call?

Edit - I remembered your screen name. Looking forward to the cruise.
