gizmo911 Posted October 3, 2014 #1 Share Posted October 3, 2014 Has anyone been in this room. Looks like there is an elevator behind 1015 and 1019. Also do you feel movement more so high up. Would like to prepare if so (ex. ginger, bonine).
Rare Essiesmom Posted October 3, 2014 #2 Share Posted October 3, 2014 The elevator behind, and spiral stairs are private to the spa for the spa cabins. You won't hear noise. I never heard noise when I was backed up to a regular elevator. Yes, if there is motion, you will feel more there. I spent two weeks in a forward facing cabin, 7203, and when there was motion, it felt to me like the captain was hitting all of the potholes. SuiteTraveler Posted October 16, 2014 #3 Share Posted October 16, 2014 Cabins at the front of the ship always get the most motion. In calm waters this is not a problem. In high seas, this can be an adventure - walk with knees bent and try to time things so you don't wind up being pitched head first into the closet while dressing, sitting in instead of on the toilet, etc. Definitely bring Bonine if you tend to get seasick and remember, if there are high seas during the day, just go midship for the day. At night it is not an issue as you are lying down in bed.
