thaidamsta Posted January 19, 2015 #1 Share Posted January 19, 2015 What is the cheapest way for a group of 6 people to get to the Miami airport when we return from our cruise (Port of Miami). We are on the Carnival cruise and they offer a one way $16 per person for their shuttle. I did some research and the Taxi flat rate is $24/per person? Would I be able to grab a Taxi van for cheaper rate?
CruiserBruce Posted January 19, 2015 #2 Share Posted January 19, 2015 (edited) Welcome to Cruise Critic! I think you can do the math. Worse case, two cabs, 3 people each, $48. 6 people in a shuttle, $96. The cab Is $24, NOT Per person. thaidamsta Posted January 19, 2015 Author #3 Share Posted January 19, 2015 Thanks for the info Bruce! I was reading mixed replies about the cab. Looks like the cab ride wins!
beachbum53 Posted January 19, 2015 #4 Share Posted January 19, 2015 Did the taxi flat rate change? I thought it was $26.00. Oh well, either way, it's still cheaper (and faster) than the shuttle bus.
cb at sea Posted January 19, 2015 #5 Share Posted January 19, 2015 A cab is the best way from POM to MIA. It is a flat fee for up to 4 people in a car taxi. A van taxi will hold more people.
