moran4carnival Posted October 28, 2014 #1 Share Posted October 28, 2014 We are sailing on the Carnival Breeze in February. We just read that there will be 5 ships in port on that day. What would be the best beach/excursion to go to and be able to enjoy the day without too many crowds?
OCruisers Posted October 28, 2014 #2 Share Posted October 28, 2014 Having five ships in Nassau is actually normal. Go ahead with what you are thinking of planning and don't worry about it. :) LuLu
amflor Posted October 28, 2014 #3 Share Posted October 28, 2014 So True! It's amazing how people dispurse once they get off the ships, and probably a good % don't even get off.
cruiseapril Posted October 30, 2014 #4 Share Posted October 30, 2014 A good beach day for us is a day pass at the Melia on Cable Beach. We take a van cab from the pier to the Melia (formerly Sheraton) and stay for about 3 or 4 hours. Some times at the beach are busier than others- but we have always had 5 or so ships in Nassau when we visited and haven't had a problem with crowds. Maybe others have.
