Nassau, Freeport, or Half Moon Cay?

Thinking about going on my second Carnival cruise, this time to the Bahamas. Which of these 3 ports would you choose and why?

Half Moon Cay!!!!! It is so beautiful and unspoiled..... the other two ports are ok, nothing great.

Just be careful choosing a cruise based solely on a private island. The private island stops sometimes get cancelled, especially in the winter and early spring, because the wind or waves are too strong to tender safely.

So far we've never missed a private island stop but many people have and I wouldn't want you to be really disappointed. It's just something to be aware of.

Other than that, the private island stops are usually the best day of a cruise. :)

Half Moon Cay is beautiful- a good beach day.

In Nassau, we like to go to Cable Beach.
