I did it online and it automatically sent a confirmation to my email. Then I called Royal and asked them to send me an updated invoice a couple of days later. Bring that with you when you go on your cruise.

I used a companion fare & booked the cruise by phone at the same time. The agent I spoke with also sent me a booking confirmation by email.
