Reports Are now suggesting that the ship is OK and that the current cruise is continuing. It must have been worrying for a while and like a previous post we are due to join the ship on 7th Feb. Fingers crossed.

The Fred Olsen website posted apparently 'real-time' photos of folks sunning themselves on deck, not looking the least concerned, so it maybe wasn't quite as traumatic as reported in the press - though they must have had happy hour at the bar to keep everyone calm.

I really hope the next cruise is without incident!

Update on Fred's website now says Boudicca will have to stay longer in Tenerife for repairs, so they are flying passengers back to Southampton on Thurs afternoon. Full refund + 50% discount on another booking to travel within the current 2015/6 programme. The MD was in Tenerife to tell passengers the news.

They are still hoping the next cruise will go ahaed as planned - so good luck MrsFluffer and everyone else who is booked on the ship from 7th Feb.
