Fort Lauderdale Hotel day room

Hi all! Our ship arrives at Port Everglades at 6am and our flight departs Fort Lauderdale at 5pm. None of the ships excursions on the last day are of interest to us. Does anyone know of a hotel by the airport that would rent out a day room. Allowing us to check in around 8am and leave around 330p? Many thanks!

There are a small number of hotels that occasionally offer day rooms.

The two that I know of are the Renaissance Hotel and the Rodeway Inn. The former is a much nicer hotel than the latter (although most complaints on the Florida Departures Board about the Rodeway are from overnight guests).

Unless you want to sleep have you considered renting a car and maybe going someplace like Sawgrass Mills Mall?

If you choose a later disembark time you can leave your cabin by 8am, have breakfast in the DR and then be off the ship by around 9/9:30.
