Hi,

I searched the forum, but ddn't see the information I was looking for.

Can someone tell me how much is cab fare from the cruise port to Blue bay Beach? (round trip/per person)

Also, what is the entrance fee charge and are chairs included? If not, how much are chairs?

Thank you.

$8 to get in and it includes lounger. Cab ride is $4 per person each way. Blue bay beach is right next to resort and oil refinery.

Blue Bay is a great beach, great for snorkelling, recent cost (Last Month) are :-

Taxi US$30 each way for upto 4 people ( you can check Taxi fares to all beaches on a Large display board in the first Tented Info centre)

Use of all Blue Bay Facilities which include sunbeds - US$8/pp There are no Sun Umbrellas just the Thatched Parasols (limited in number -best too be early and are free)

If you are looking for a cheaper alternative Mambo Beach cost US$20 each way unto 4 passengers.

Also not widely known is the Veneto Holiday Beach Resort and Casino, it is within walking distance of the Mega-pier. You can see it to the left of the ship berth. We visited last month cost US$10 /pp for use of all facilities - although it gets a poor rating on Tripadviser the place is spotlessly clean and you get the use of their swimming pool and lagoon beach. Food is available from either the hotel or the adjoining Denny's.

Was there last week and took a small bus to Resort/Beach, cost 6.00 ea. way, the bus couldn't enter resort so they call a security guard, armed, to transport you to beach at no cost.

The bad was, when leaving, we had to again call security, get ride to front gate, walk 1/4 mile to bus stop and wait 15 minutes for bus to stop for us.
