BEER TIME! CHEF MICHAEL SCHWARTZ ON CRAFT BEER AND QUANTUM OF THE SEAS

 

James Beard award winning chef and now a Royal Caribbean Quantum Experience Advisor (Culinary), Michael Schwartz heads to Gadsden, Alabama to Back Forty Beer to meet with the brew partners to learn how Michael's Genuine Home Brew, is created.

Chef Schwartz wanted a craft beer with ingredients from South Florida that would be a food friendly beer that paired well with food served on Royal Caribbean's Quantum of the Seas. Just like it says on the label, it's "fresh… simple… pure." Chef Schwartz believes that Michael's Genuine Pub, the first American gastropub at sea, "...is a small part of a much bigger picture in dynamic dining and how Quantum of the Seas and Royal Caribbean is really changing the game in food and beverage."
