We've got the Trike Tour booked for our port stop in January 2017. We return to the port area around 12:30 pm and sail out at 4 or 5. Looking for a FUN place to hang out for some drinks, food, great view and excellent music/atmosphere. Preferably within walking distance to the ship pier. Just looking to hang out for a couple of hours and soak up the ambiance.

Suggestions?

I don't know of any place that has live music in the afternoons. Iguana Joe's is right across from the cruise port. Located upstairs, it offers excellent views of the harbor and town. They have great drinks and good food. A little further down, you will come to The Paddock, located on the waterfront. It is also a good place for a bite to eat and drinks. Walking further down, past the park, you will come to West Deck. It also has great views, right on the water. Food and drinks there is also very good.

Interested in West Deck.

When exiting the pier area, would that be a right toward the shopping, or a left on the main drag?

When you get off of the ship, walk to the right. Depending on where you dock, it could be a 10 - 15 minute walk. You'll cross over a little bridge, walk past Renaissance Marina, and right after the park you will come to it. We love it.

Thanks for the directions.

Thinking West Deck might be a good place for sunset cocktails?
