Cruise port to Alcatraz ferry

How far is it from the cruise port to pier 33 to get on the ferry to Alcatraz? We will be on the Ruby Princess.

From just down the board. Fisherman's Wharf might be a block past the Alcatraz Ferry Pier.

Not sure of your pier number or that of the ferry, but there are frequent buses and trollies that run all along that part of the city. It should not be hard to either walk there, very possible, or take the public transportation.

The Trolley is the F line. The OP is correct with Pier 33 for the Alcatraz Ferry.

Make sure you get your tickets in advance. They sell out fast!

It's a relatively short walk.

If you like to walk I would just do that.

It is the equivalent of a two-block walk at most. Unless you have trouble walking, that is by far the fastest way to go.
