Taxi/Shuttle?

We fly in to FLL on Thursday afternoon. Our flight is scheduled to arrive at 4:30. Our hotel, Extended Stay America on 17th Street has an airport shuttle, but only until 4:30. We are hoping to utilize the shuttle if our flight gets in early, but we are not counting on it. What is our best bet to get to the ESA, assuming we don't have access to their hotel shuttle? Take a taxi - it is only a few minutes away.

Agree...common recommendation here would be taxi.
