I was lucky enough to get an Ultra Cruise invite and booked one of two available on December 5 (Breeze).

Was hoping some folks in here have been on an ultra cruise and give me some details on what I can expect. I have heard a few things by digging on the web but any additional info would be awesome.

I don't have any additional information for you but I'll be on the Ultra Cruise as well. I had the Elite offer for August but was too busy to take the last minute cruise. I'm glad I was able to take them up on the Ultra offer. :)

It will be interesting to see the additional perks they have over the Premier Cruises.

I check my offers every day and it showed up at midnight. I got the email invite 12 hours later.

I didn't get an e-mail invite (or one by snail mail), but I checked my VIFP offers today, and both the premier, and the ultra showed up. I called CCL, and booked the Magic out of Galveston for 11-29-15, so I guess I was "invited"!:o I really didn't expect to receive an offer, as I have not done a premier cruise in 2015 (though I did one in 2014) and it was a lot of fun. Happy cruising!

I booked today morning Ultra cruise....Does anyone know what perks this cruise includes? (except free cruise + cash that I already got :) )

My husband and I got the offer today as well.

We both got them on our Carnival website and this afternoon received the email offers.

He got casino cash and 40% off a cruise and I got free interior but no cash :(

We booked the Magic and are SUPER excited to go.

We would like to know as well what the perks are beyond a Premier cruise.

Hi all, carnival has a three tier casino cruise. Premiere, ultra and elite. I am going on my first ultra in December on the breeze. My understanding of the ultra is they have bigger different giveaways than the premiere. But unlike the premiere and the elite, your guest will only receive the dou card but not entered in the special drawing. The higher the casino cruise the less people invited. So I always tell people if you get an invite jump on it fast. I have been on the elite cruises and they are very limited 40-50 (including your guest in that count). But all they do for you on an elite it is no wonder they have to limit it. I'll be on my 2nd elite cruise in August and I can't wait.

I attended the Ultra cruise last December. It was a step up from the Premier cruise. My offer included a free interior cabin. We paid and upgraded to an aft balcony cabin. It included drinks while playing in the casino. Every day the casino dept left you some sort of gift in the cabin; the strawberries, delicious bakery cookies, wine, etc. Everyone that is an invited guest is guaranteed a gift. The gifts ranged from ipads to iphones, laptops, giftcards (some $300 and some $400), flat screen tv's and ultimate cruise packages for a cruise up to 12 days in a grand suite. Only the invited guests get the gift. If both the husband and wife are invited, they both would get a gift. I was fortunate to win the ultimate cruise package. I will be taking that cruise in September in a Captain's Suite. The ultimate cruise package includes $500 spa package and $500 photo package, chef's table dinner, a shore excursion and airport transfers. You just pay taxes and tips. The Elite offer is a step up from the Ultra offer and includes an ocean suite and cash back as well as free drinks for the entire cruise, free cruise parking or p/u at airport and a free excursion. Hope you enjoy your Ultra cruise. They also have daily giveaways in the casino and the snowball raffles. Good luck.

Would you say that if someone hasn't gotten their Ultra invitation/offer by now, it won't be coming or do they wait to see how many respond and then send out some to the "2nd tier invites"? I know this is probably guessing/your thoughts.

It will show up in your OFFERS in your VIFP. If it is not there you won't get an email/snail mail offer. Maybe they will need a second round. I got the email after I booked it.

I would say, approximately 10 or 12 total. They put all the invited quests names in a barrel. I think there might have been 120 or so. Then each night in the casino they would pick around 20 names. When they called your name, you would pick a ball and it had a number on it which corresponded to a gift box. Then you would open your box and see what you had won. They would give away the same items each night. For example, one Mac Pro, two ipads, two iphones, two $300 visa cards, two $400 ccl gift cards, a bottle of scotch, an expresso maker, two TV's, two ultimate cruises, etc. Once your name was called you were done. You would not know what night you would be called. If they called your name and you were not there, the casino host would pick for you. I think my name was picked on the third night. I really wanted the ultimate cruise package and did not want the scotch or the espresso maker. So I am watching the drawing, and once they gave away the espresso maker and the scotch, and there was still a cruise package in remaining gifts, I'm thinking to myself, call my name now. Well it happened, and I was lucky enough to pick the right gift and got the cruise package. I know they gave away 2 cruise packages per night. By the end of the week all the names in the barrell were called and everyone got one gift.

I did receive this new ultra offer. I don't know if they are doing it the same as last year. I didn't get an email, but it is listed under my special offers. It is P7L for a free interior and cash. Yesterday there were two cruises to pick from and today there are three. I guess they added another one. I noticed under the terms and conditions, all the way at the bottom it states "Guests are not guaranteed to receive an ULTRA prize". Has anyone who booked it, been told about this? Because on last year's ultra cruise each guest was guaranteed a gift.

Same for me. I found the Ultra offer online very early yesterday morning when I got up for work. And then the email arrived a few hours later after I had booked. The same offer is supposed to be coming in snail mail according to my PVP, but as popular as the Ultra cruises are, it wouldn't surprise me if the cabins aren't gone by then.

Just curious-I wonder how does one get the TV off the ship, and on to the plane home?!;)

Sorry it took me so long to come back and read these posts...I did get my invite in snail mail as well long after i booked online and saw the "Guests are not guaranteed to receive ultra prize" that your talking about. So i checked last years invite in my email that they had sent and it states that same message about not guaranteed on there as well. SO hopefully nothing has changed and everyone will get gift.
