Has anyone done the Renaissance Day pass in Aruba? If so, did you enjoy and was it worth the money? We will be there on Nov 3 and I read that the hotel has to be at 90% occupancy or below for day passes to be offered, has anyone been turned down for a day pass. Any information you can give would be greatly appreciated. TIA and cruise on:)

I would ask this question on the Aruba board. ;)

You cant not get your day pass ahead of time.

So you have to head there off your ship just to see if availabity?

Yes, people do get turned away.

Have you considered taking a cab, renting chairs on another beach?

You need lots of sunscrenn because you can get burnt.

We just started looking into day passes and we say Flamingo beach and it looks really neat to go there and experience so that is why i mentioned Renaissance Day Pass. I will plan a back up plan in case but we are in the early planning stages because our cruise is not until end of Oct.

Yes we went to the rennisance hotel 2 years ago and absolutely loved it. We are on the breeze next week and planning on going back for the day.

Report back and let us know. THis is high season in aruba right now

When you went 2 years ago was it during the same time?

  • 4 weeks later...

What would a room cost for the "night?"

We are doing a land trip and booked through price line and the room for two was cheaper than two day passes.

You won't get the AI but it might be worth checking it out.

We're only had one turn down in our 6 visits. The cost includes lounge, chair, lunch, one drink and the use of their water toys. A good deal in my opinion. Very romantic. We usually go in November and will hopefully be spending Thanksgiving there.
