What to do with an early bird?

Our son always wakes up between 5 and 6 even on vacation. What is there to do that early? The worst part of our last couple of land based trips was sitting around trying to keep him quiet and occupied waiting for things to open.

Let him run around on the open decks, maybe pack some new toys that will interest him, or download some of his favorite cartoons/movies to watch before you head out to breakfast....take him out to watch the sun rise!

Being an early bird on a cruise is fun! Get an early breakfast to beat the crowds and like PP said go have fun on the empty decks! Just steer clear of the joggers/walkers - the early ones mean serious business and won't likely appreciate a kid's disruptions ;)

Agree, sit down breakfast with great service is a new experience for the little ones. Sadly 2 of my 3 sleep in till lunch, but we love the early breakfast with the kids.
