We'll be coming here on Celebrity Reflection & from looking at the airport schedules, a lot of the bigger planes land midday & afterwards!

We are definitely wanting to watch some planes come in but we would also like to see the island & do some shopping if possible!

Please can anyone recommend anyone to do this sort of tour either a private or a ship excursion.

Thank you! :)

You could also just take a taxi to the French Capital and shop and buy pastries and walk to the fort for the views and then taxi to Maho to see the planes and then taxi back to the town of Philipsburg and shop or walk the boardwalk stopping at a few bars or ice cream parlor so/shops as you walk back to the ship.

We did Bernard's Tours in September last year and had a great time.

We are thinking of using them again this coming April when we are back in St Maarten.

Good value and our driver/guide 'The Mailman' was fab.

You can walk to the pick-up point from the ship as it's just round the corner.

Can also vouch for Bernard Tour. Hit all the highlights. Maho to see the planes, an hour or so at Orient beach, stop in Marigot at the open air market, several scenic stops. There was also a stop where there were several iguanas. Plus all the beer and rum punch you wanted. Excellent value for the price

I'm leaning towards this. Can you tell me what type of vehicle was used? Big bus? Little bus?

I had no idea alcohol is provided, did they give that to you while on the vehicle?

Thanks so much!
