What to do other than snorkeling and beach visit

We don't snorkel and usually don't do beach visits. We'd rather see the island. Any suggestions on what we can do? I did some research and there's really no private tour available.

We're renting a golf cart and driving around the island on our own.

We spent a week in Bonaire a few years ago. Other than snorkeling and diving, there is not a lot to do. The main town is quite small. I would suggest renting a car and driving around the island. We enjoyed the donkey sanctuary ( you drive through it) and the salt flats. Have fun!

I would rent a car. Lots of places to drive around to see. I wish we would have gone down to see the salt flats. Instead we went north and did some snorkeling, visited one of the Flamingo lakes and walked around the town.

The town has an "artsy" vibe with a nice open air market and several art galleries. Very easy to walk around in.
