Texas port departures

I have cruised quite a lot and like being able to depart from Texas cruise ports, but the itineraries from both Houston and Galveston give limited options for new places to visit. I'm tired of visiting the western Caribbean and would really like to be able to see more Caribbean (as in eastern and southern Caribbean) ports while leaving from Texas ports.

Does anyone know of cruise line plans to offer more cruising options for Texas departures?

Yes the up coming San Juan/eastern caribbean itinerary out of Gaveston from carnival will be an option !
