japan and ancient capitals

Hi, we are thinking of cruising on the Diamond Princess in Oct and flying to Tokyo for 3 nights then visit Japan and Korea so any help will be much appreciated.

That looks like a fantastic cruise and it's one I was considering (in July), but the high airfare scotched it. I hope Princess keeps it in the rotation -- maybe next year. :)
