Air, hotel and cruise package through NCL

Has anyone booked one of the packages that includes airfare and hotel stays with the cruise through NCL?

I'm already booked for the Escape TA but just saw they now have packages that include either 2 or 3 nights in Paris and based on what I've seen for airfare so far, it'll actually save me a bunch to do this.

So, if anyone has done one of these packages, I'd be interested to hear your thoughts, good and bad.

I bought the package from Norwegian when The Getaway came out in January. It worked very well and my travel agent was pleased with both the price of the flights and the hotel.

Where did you fly out of and what airline did NCL pick? Just curious.

Sometimes it works out better.

Personally, it would have to be a GREAT deal for me to do it. I like being in charge of my own arrangements. Less surprises.

We almost always go a few days early for a trip like that.

It's savings of about $1800 and that even includes us having to get round trip from DTW to MIA.

NCL offers out of DTW for $250 a person extra but we would still have to get a return flight from MIA to DTW. Roundtrip from DTW to MIA and back with all those days in between comes out to just under $400 a person.

A one way from MIA to DTW after the cruise is almost $300 so in the end, it saves even more.
