Can't help you with the T Hotel, but can suggest another one. We recently stayed at the Hotel Panorama by Rhombus. Their rates are very reasonable, and a hint, if you email them or ring, they will offer you a better deal. This hotel is relatively new, in a great spot away from noise of Nathan Road, but still within a minutes walking distance. Many cheap eateries around, and the train a couple of doors down. We went for the Club Harbourview. This is totally worth it, with an amazing free breakfast included. Also access to a special room for drinks and nibblies, during their happy hour. Their nibblies were substantial and delicious, with enough to suffice for dinner....free. The views from the top are fabulous, and a great spot to see the lights. The rooms are very large, which is unusual for Hong Kong, very clean and with everything you need. Could easily live there! Def stay there again.

Anyway, thought it may be worth you checking out.

I agree - this hotel is much too far from the center of action. Why stay there?

You should consider a hotel located inside or very near high speed airport train stations. For example, the W (Westin) is situated above the station only two stops from the airport...you catch the train directly inside the airport terminal, steps from exiting customs.

Quick door to door service - esp after a long overseas flight - is fantastic.

It is highly rated as a micro-hotel, runned by VTC (Vocational Training Center at H.K. University on its beautiful campus on the far side of HKG island) for training purposes, and thus well managed & supervised - highly rated on Tripadvisors.

But, it is considered to be out on the suburban and/or countryside, sort of an urban oasis - at least 30 to 45 minutes each way commuting to "city centre" known as "Central" to connect to MTR (HK's extensive subway train networks) pus buses & ferries. Looks nice & roomy - but I wouldn't recommend it for a short stay pre- and/or post-cruise, unless one enjoy spending time on (free) shuttle services, transfers to buses (and, if you are brave enough, to ride the PMB network that's everywhere & mostly in Cantonese) to get around to popular tourist attractions for 1st. time & relatively new visitors.

I tried doing a dummy booking to see their rates and cannot due to unavailability of rooms, to see how competitive their rates are. There are numerous choices at all price points better suited for CC members saiing into/out of HKG. Hotels in the N.T. in towns like Sha Tin are better if interested in a more open air, non-urban settings, i.e. Courtyard by Marriott is getting good reviews (not a recommendation, of course)
