cruiseprincess2006 Posted October 4, 2006 #4 Share Posted October 4, 2006 i have stayed in owners suite 10506 - 10th floor 4 times. it is absolutely fabulous!!! lots of space with 2 balcony's. very quiet room. you get to see the captain daily (he is 1 deck above)... which has worked out as an advantage -- each year, he treats us to dinner in the bistro!!! enjoy! it is a wonderful way to take a cruise! BarbCT605 Posted October 4, 2006 #5 Share Posted October 4, 2006 On the new NCL website, on the interactive Deck plans, if you click an Owner's Suite (9506, 9006, 10506 or 10006), you'll see OS #9506. The dining area in 10506 is in alcove and the bar is in a different place. Take a look at the Virtual tours which actually shows #10506: http://www.virtualtoursusa.com/tours/norwegiandawn/ownerlr.htm Enjoy!

JPCruising Posted October 5, 2006 #10 Share Posted October 5, 2006 I appreciate all the great comments on my photos. I am not a professional but an avid hobbist photographer who loves to cruise and take photos. My wife and I were actually staying in OS #10506 when I took the pictures:D I took several of them late one night using a tripod. Donna if you want some pictures we could work out something. I hope to post some Bar Harbor and New York photos when I get a free moment.
aceparty Posted October 5, 2006 #11 Share Posted October 5, 2006 We are currently booked in a Mini- suite AF Cat. On the Dawn , and thinking about upgrading to a AB Cat. Penthouse. what would a reasonable upsell price be $200.$300 per person? We are hardly ever in the room but we do have a six year old with us, so we are in the room more with her(It will be her 4 th cruise)

lil buddy Posted October 6, 2006 #13 Share Posted October 6, 2006 JP we were on the same cruise with you to Canada and in an owners suite on deck 9. I was looking at your great pictures and lo and behold, there is a picture of my husband and I. Think the odds are pretty amazing. We don't take many pictures so thank you for sharing yours. lil buddy Posted October 6, 2006 #14 Share Posted October 6, 2006 Dear George, The butler service on the ship can be anything you want it to be. They will set up your bar in your room ( complimetary ) and include any extras you may want ( i wanted tomato juice and fresh lemon ). Your butler will serve your in suite meals, and again bring you anything you might want. If you have any personal needs such as laundry, pressing etc. he's your man. The conciege, will attend to all your needs outside of your room...dinner reservations, prioity tendering, reserved show seating ( note on the show seating...we found the reserved seats were not as good as the regular ones.) My advice, get your own seats, unless the show is packed or you are running late. You will get to go to the chocolate buffet before it opens, and any shore needs can also be handled by the concierge. I hope you get Claudio, he is delightful and will do anything he can for you. You also get prioity boarding and disembarking. Truly a great experience. Have a great time. You'l have two balconies, yes both ARE fully usable. If you request nicely and tip commensurately, the concierge and your butler will be your personal "staff" and make your cruise experience tremendous. This should be on your home insurance even if you don't have travel insurance. Tony Interestingly, it's not the loss of the camera as much as the photos. The camera wasn't at all expensive, which might have something to do with my pics are not as spectacular as yours, LOL, but thank you for your kind thoughts.
