We need some help please.

We will be berthing Port Antigua from Celebrity Eclipse on Christmas Day this year, are their any shops open ? Taxis ? Excursions etc ?? Is it business as usual on the Island ??

Any help or advice would be fantastic so thank you in advance 😜👌

I'm not in a position to predict, but one option to consider is a ship tour. Or you might google for private excursions and see if any are available for that day or if they are all closed down. You could call a private tour operator and ask them about the possibility of shops being open on Christmas Day when a ship is in and see how they react.

Happy Planning, m--

There are a LOT of stores right in the port and my guess is that most will be open but it's just a guess.

You might want to post a question in the Antigua ports forum and hopefully get an answer from someone who has experience.'

You'll find it here:

The suggestion about emailing private tour operators and asking them is a good one. You'll find some names on that forum above.

The last suggestion might take a little more work. You can look through Roll Calls from this last December and try to find a cruise that was in port last Christmas day and ask what their experience was.

Have you joined your roll call? Often there's people on that forum which have answers to questions you have
