Paris Layover

We have a 4 hour 15 min layover in Paris on our way to Rome. Is it possible to leave the airport and see a little bit of Paris (never been), or is it logistically impossible?

No way would you have time to leave the airport get into Paris see anything at all get back to airport make it htrough security etc. in this amount of time...no way. Save Paris for another trip!! Good reason to go.

You don't have the time to leave the airport let alone go all the way to and from Paris.

Not sure which airport you will be at. We had a layover almost twice that long at CDG and determined that we did not have a realistic chance to get into Paris and make it back without a chance of missing the flight.

I asked this question a few years ago and got the same response from posters and unfortunately they were correct. We had an even longer layover and between the different checkpoints and getting from one terminal to another, we were very glad we didn't try it.
