connection time ORD for international incoming flight

Hi all

We are taking a cruise next April/May. It is a TA, followed by a trip around the British Isles. I am looking at returning one-way airfare and the prices are quite high. But, we can book nicely priced flights thru Princess Air (I forget what they call it!).

The flight that has us getting home the fastest (but late at night) only gives us 1 hr and 25 minutes between the flight from LHR to ORD. While I know that is "legal", is this realistic? If it helps, we are flying home May 20 (a Sunday), 2018.

I have never flown thru ORD on an international flight but I have used ORD a lot. I can't imagine this is enough time.

Anyone have any advice experience?

Even with Global Entry, if you have it, that's very tight for ORD.

You do not mention if you are on one airline or two which could mean a terminal change as well.

Princess should have more options but I understand your desire to shorten an otherwise very long day to ABQ.

If you are asking what others would do I would not recommend this.

I wouldn't do it. We have arrived from Europe to ORD and the lines have been extremely long. One time I saw someone yelling (not a good decision) at an immigration official because of the long line wanting to cut in front of others to make his flight.

I too would not recommend this.

We usually allow 3 hrs minimum at ORD. Maybe look into an airport hotel and leave for ABQ the next morning.
