Clarea Posted July 18, 2016 #2 Share Posted July 18, 2016 You may also want to ask on the forum dedicated to Disney here: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/forumdisplay.php?f=
Rare Keith1010 Posted July 18, 2016 #3 Share Posted July 18, 2016 You would be far better to go to the Disney Cruise Line Site. It is there that you can look up pricing. More than likely October or November (not Thanksgiving) would be good. https://disneycruise.disney.go.com Keith

Extra activities/themeing = higher cost than those cruises used to be. They've also started doing this on the springtime cruises on the Fantasy (non spring break) by adding the Star Wars Day theme. Capt_BJ Posted July 18, 2016 #5 Share Posted July 18, 2016 (edited) if not already aware Disney is ALWAYS gonna cost more than other cruise lines ... even when their prices are "low" by Disney standards, they are HIGH as compared to other lines ..... just sayin ...... if you want to play with the Mouse .... you gotta PAY the Mouse . . . Disney is a "premium" line .... and the Family Premium line .... don't get me wrong, we like 'em ... but know that we will pay more to go with them as compared to other mainstreams. For two adults you would be looking at WINDSTAR or VIKING RIVER numbers . . . Edited July 18, 2016 by Capt_BJ
SuiteTraveler Posted July 18, 2016 #6 Share Posted July 18, 2016 Since you are going on a Disney cruise, you should google "Fish Extender" as this is a big deal on Disney cruises and your grandchildren will want to participate. Here are the basics: http://www.wdwinfo.com/disney-cruise-line/fish-extender-basics.htm You can buy fish extenders pre-made on Etsy or Ebay. Just be aware - you don't just hang up the Fish Extender pockets and expect gifts. You must sign up with a group doing it. And you agree that you'll be providing gifts to the others on your list. Yes, there were/are travel agents telling people "just hang up the extender and you'll get gifts".
