Miami Hotel Day Pass?

Our repo cruise ends in Miami (in Nov) and our return flights aren't until 7/8ish in the evening. Does anyone know of any hotels in the Miami area that will do a day pass so we could just swim/relax at the pool or beach until we go to the airport?

Otherwise, your best bet is a hotel close to the airport as they'd have people coming and going all the time anyhow..

A lot will depend on the time of year you are traveling as well (ETA, oops missed that you said November-busier time of the year)

You'll want to just call a few direct...problem is, most will not know if they'll have a day room until the day or so before, if that...

Most of the touristy places will probably be checking in overnight guests..

there is also a hotel IN the airport - not the most exciting but an option perhaps..

Appears you are cruising in November, which should be a low demand period -- call MUCH closer to your dates for availability.

The hotel inside the Miami airport - cleverly called the Miami Airport Hotel :rolleyes: - does offer day rates, but does not have a pool. :( Sofitel, near MIA usually comes up for about $100 and does offer a pool. You may be able to do better with a South Beach hotel offering a spa pass - tip them to watch your bags while you relax and get pampered.

The airport hotel used to have a pool, where did it go?? Back in the 90s I used that hotel all the time going to/from Jamaica, and the pool was on the roof you could see the runway , there was a gym /lockeroom and a bar/ restaurant. What happened to the pool???

Any of the high end hotels in Miami and Miami Beach will offer day cabanas. Cabanas usually include some snack and have showers.

You can call around and find many.

Also, off the top of my head, the Mondrian and The Raleigh both offer day pool passes. I'm sure you can use the spa showers.
