Getting from Amsterdam Hotel to Airport

Need some help on planning our trip to the Amsterdam airport. Our flight is at 8am. So we will be getting up in the middle of the night. We will be at Hotel Estherea. What is the best way to handle this...any recommendations? Is the best (and cheapest method) a private transfer service, just a plain old everyday taxi, UberX, let the Hotel Estherea handle for us? Thanks...

Regular taxi, called by the hotel. Might run you 40-50 Euro total.

Walking to Centraal Station and catching a Schiphol bound train. 2nd class, € 4,20 each (excl. appr. 0,50 upcharge for each single use paper ticket over the OV Chipcard, see staffed desk for a paper ticket)

Depending on your budget, ability to walk and carry your luggage on the train (don't leave it unattended on the balcony, it's a short ride and there are jump seats available on the balconies) the train is your cheapest option. Taxi is less desirable, I would prefer the shuttle if budget isn't an issue. Or a private car service like Sixt's MyDriver but those services are overpriced and often regular taxi's.. :)

Assuming you have luggage with you, forget to walk to Centraal Station, simply too far.

Since the connexxion shuttle starts to run at 6 am, forget about that too.

They will have to pickup other passengers, and you will have to be at the airport the latest 2 hours prior. If flying to the USA, some airlines even want you 3 hours prior.
